Jin TV employees are celebrating both March 8, International Women's Day and the anniversary of the establishment of women's television in Sulaymaniyah, Southern Kurdistan.

The celebration event was held in the Sulaymaniyah office of the Jin TV. Women press workers wore traditional dresses and danced to Kurdish songs.

Jin TV was founded three years ago on March 8, 2018, to provide broadcast from a women's perspective against the sexist policies of the mainstream media outlets.

Launched under the motto "The voice of women and the essence of life", Jin TV broadcasts in many languages, mainly in Kurdish.
