Jineology Research Centre opened in Hesekê

“Our aim is to improve women's science and organize trainings in all regions”, said Şerin Eli Sileman, an executive of the Hesekê Jineology Center.

A Jineology (Women’s Science) Research Center opened in the neighbourhood of Kaziya Mersho in Hesekê.

A ceremony was organised for the opening of the new centre. Muna Yusif, Kongreya Star executive, said: “The opening of this center is the best response to those who target the will of our people. Women stood up for themselves and took their part in the revolution. Women have organized following the ideas of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and taken part in the construction of an ethical and political society.”

Rumet Heval, one of the residents of JINWAR village (a village built by women), celebrated the opening of the center saying: “Our goal in opening the Jineology Research Center is to develop an equal life with the ideas of women's science.”

After the speeches, mothers of martyrs cut the opening ribbon of the center.
