KBDH: Let's raise the slogan Jin jîyan Azadî, let's stop the executions in Iran!

The KBDH said in a statement: "Let's raise the slogan Jin jîyan Azadî, let's stop the executions! Let's unite our voices and strength in the streets."

The General Council of the Women's United Revolutionary Movement (KBDH) made a written statement against the death sentences of the Iranian state.

The statement said: "The fascist Iranian mullah regime is increasing its oppression on all Iranian and Rojhilat society in order to destroy the spirit of resistance of the popular uprising that started with the murder of Jina Mahsa Amini, and to rule society with fear and make it bow. It is increasing its oppression and cruelty in order to take revenge on the workers and women who participated in the Jina Mahsa Amini uprising."

The statement added: "Those who do not submit to the mullah regime and who fight for a just and honorable life at the cost of their lives are being detained. They are being held in custody for months and subjected to torture. The fact that they are being detained is being kept a secret from their families, relatives and lawyers. And news of executions being carried out in the same prisons is rising. News of resistance against torture, oppression and cruelty is also rising."

The statement continued: "The courts that have assumed the responsibility of protecting the order of the male-dominated mullah regime have sentenced Sharifa Mohammadi and Pakhshan Azizi to death.

Sharifa Mohammadi and Pakhshan Azizi are two Kurdish women. Many things they have in common have brought them together on the same side in the struggle against the fascist mullah regime.

Sharifa Mohammadi is a unionist and patriotic woman who fights for the rights of Iranian workers and laborers.

Pakhshan Azizi is a journalist, social services specialist, a patriotic, revolutionary woman who fights for women's freedom.

The common point of these two young Kurdish patriotic women is that they are fighting for the honorable and free lives of Iranian working people, workers, and women. These two revolutionary women, who desire a free and equal life together with their gender, have a resistance that they continue for this longing."

The statement said: "The Iranian regime is trying to hinder the struggle of all women who do not surrender to it, who do not submit, who resist and struggle. First of all, as women from Turkey, Kurdistan and the Middle East, let us say stop to these attacks of the fascist mullah regime.

Just as we showed our strength against male-dominated capitalist, reactionary and fascist systems by coming together with our voices, strength and actions with the slogan 'Jin, Jîyan, Azadî' everywhere, let us take to the streets today to stop the death sentences wherever we are.

Let us show the transformative power of women by shouting the slogan 'Jin, Jîyan, Azadî' to keep Sharifa Mohammadi and Pakhshan Azizi alive. With the strength we get from the actions of our brave sisters who showed with their self-defense actions that male violence is not our fate, let us join hands and unite our voices and strength in the streets against the fascist mullah regime and colonialist and fascist male-dominated systems."
