KCDK-E calls on women to join demos on 8 March

The Kurdistan Democratic Societies Congress in Europe (KCDK-E) celebrated 8 March International Working Women's Day and called women on take to the streets.

In a written message, the KCDK-E co-presidency council wished happy 8 March to "Kurdish women who fight heroically and show that the impossible is possible, who establish a free life in Rojava, Shengal and to women leading the world resistance."

KCDK-E added: "Women who struggle against injustice and are aware that capitalism is responsible for all evil, wars and reproductive diseases and lead the struggle for the liberation of humanity."

Recalling that "the murderer fascist dictator, misogynist Erdogan wants to destroy all those who resist with the imposition of a sexist life marked by oppression and persecution of all women", the statement added: "Human history is full of examples of the change and transformation that women have created in society. Women are the only salvation against wars, massacres, murders, poverty and all kinds of oppression in which life is in danger and life is rendered uninhabitable."

The KCDK-E ended its statement by calling all women to join the demonstrations to be held on Sunday around the world.
