Rozerîn Women's Assembly, the organization of Kurdish women in Dortmund, got together in the context of the "Letter to the CPT" campaign launched by the Kurdish Women's Union of Germany (YJK-E) to demand freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
450 letters were sent to the Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT).
The content of the letter condemned the Imrali system of torture, isolation and genocide, and called on the CPT to fulfill its responsibility.
The campaign continues throughout Germany. Representatives of the Rozerîn Women's Council called on women to mobilize more to achieve the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
