A man by the name of Murat Berk murdered his mother Gülsüm Berk and stepmother Güler Kaya in Silivri district of Istanbul on Sunday.

After killing the two women, who lived in the same house, the man called his friend and told about the incident before killing himself.

Following a crime scene investigation by the police and medical teams, the bodies were taken to Forensic Medicine Institute and an investigation has been launched.
