In April, the deaths of at least 15 women (in Muğla (1), Manisa (1), Kastamonu (1), Mardin (1), Ordu (1), Isparta(1), Zonguldak (1), Maraş (1), Karaman (1), Bursa (1), İstanbul (1), Malatya (1), Aydın (1), Urfa (1), Kocaeli (1)) were reported in the press as suspicious.

Feminicide

In April 2022, men killed at least 29 women. Last April, this number was 17. Men also killed at least five men accompanying the women.

One of the women killed by men was a citizen of Azerbaijan, while one woman was a citizen of Uzbekistan.

Three men killed three women after getting out of prison on leave. Men killed at least seven women despite "protection" or "restraining" orders.
