Action by Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas in Xakurkê leaves 27 Turkish soldiers dead

27 Turkish soldiers were killed and 17 weapons were seized in an operation carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas in Xakurkê.
According to information provided by local sources, Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas carried out an attack on three sides on Martyr Qehreman Hill in the Xakurkê region, on Friday at around 4pm. 27 Turkish soldiers were killed and weapons belonging to 17 soldiers were seized in the action.
Some of the killed soldiers were named as follows: Ramazan Günay, Mehmet Serinkan, Çağatay Erenoğlu, Yasin Karaca, Emre Taşkın, Ismail Yazıcı.
In its statement after the guerrilla's action, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that only 3 soldiers were killed and 4 soldiers were injured.
