There has been no news for more than a month from women's rights activist and KJAR member Warishe Muradi. The activist was kidnapped by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Sîne (Sanandaj) in Rojhilat on 1 August 2023 and sent to prison accused of "membership in a terrorist organization" after a 2-week detention period.

By the order of the President of the 15th Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran, Warishe Muradi has been prevented from meeting with her family since 6 May. Her family and lawyers said that their applications to the authorities regarding the reason for the ban remained unanswered.

It was determined that Warishe Muradi, who suffers from various health problems such as back pain, bone diseases and difficulty walking, had lost weight since the day she was arrested. Muradi, who was referred to the hospital due to health problems in the last 3 months, did not receive any treatment and was not examined by a doctor.

Warishe Muradi's lawyers applied to the 15th Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran two weeks ago and requested the file to be examined, but they were told that the file did not exist and were warned not to apply again.
