An investigation was launched against nine female prisoners, including Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven, in Elazig Women's Closed Prison. The prisoners have been given a one-month ban on communication and visits for singing in Kurdish.
Some prisoners, including Güven, will not be allowed to make a phone call for one month while other prisoners will not be allowed to meet their relatives for one month.
