Kezban Doğan spoke on behalf of the Kurdish women's movement in Europe and said: "Fifty years ago, Kurdish women played no role in social and political life, they were not noticed. That has changed with Abdullah Öcalan and the struggle of women like Sakine Cansız. The Jin Jiyan Azadî philosophy has spread throughout the world. The Rojava Revolution gave and continues to give hope to women worldwide. We must act with this responsibility. Rojava has been under attack by those in power since the 2012 revolution. The resistance against Islamists and the fascist Erdoğan is led by women. Great sacrifices were made, and great successes were achieved.”

After further speeches, the activity report for the last two years was read out and discussed in detail. The delegates expressed criticism and self-criticism. The result was that the PYD Women's Council in Europe decided to focus on organization, education and support for refugees. In addition, the council will help women, in particular those newly arrived with children.
