Four women dead in three days
Dudu Yılmaz and Bilge Köse were killed by their husbands in Izmir and Antep, while A.K.Y. and Ayşegül Irmak died in suspicious circumstances in Hakkari and Urfa.

Receiving no news from Dudu Yılmaz and her husband, R.Y., who had settled in a hostel house in Izmir Urla district 3 days ago, police teams went to check on the them and found Dudu Yılmaz dead. Her husband, R.Y., was not at the hostel.
Yılmaz's body was taken to the morgue of Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute after the investigation by the prosecutor. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
Man killed wife in Antep
In a separate incident in Antep (Dilok), a woman was murdered by her husband, whom she wanted to divorce.
Bilge Köse, 25, and her father, Ertuğrul Kaya, 47, were murdered by Mertcan Köse (25), who was in the process of divorcing Bilge, in Antep. Father and daughter were killed inside their car. The killer fled after the attack.
Suspicious death in Hakkari
In Hakkari (Colemêrg), 23-year-old A.K.Y. died under suspicious circumstances in her house on 15 June.
The neighbours, who had not heard from the woman for a while, informed the police, who went to the house with medical teams and found the woman unconscious.
After the first intervention, A.K.Y. was transferred to the Van Regional Training and Research Hospital, but died on the way.
Hakkari Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation over the death. It was reported that the husband of the woman was a sergeant. It was not known whether the sergeant was taken into custody.
Suspicious death in Urfa
Ayşegül Irmak (20), who lives in Birecik (Bêrecûk), in the province of Urfa (Riha), lost her life suspiciously in her home. It was claimed that Irmak was driven to suicide. An investigation was launched into the incident. The woman's body was sent to the Urfa Forensic Medicine Institute.
Femicides on the increase
In its latest report, the Center for Socio-Political Field Studies said that violence against women has escalated, and that between 1 March and 31 May, at least 94 women were murdered and 84 women died under suspicious circumstances.
