The We Will Stop Femicide Platform (KCDP) published its June report sharing the number and circumstances of women killed. According to the report, 18 women were killed in June, 20 women died in suspicious circumstances.
According to the report, out of 18 women, 10 were murdered by their husband, 2 by a relative, 2 by an acquaintance, 1 by her father, 1 by her partner, 1 by her former partner, and 1 by her ex husband.
The report also underlined and protested the remarks by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about 30 years old unmarried people. "Stop trying to interfere with the decisions we make saying that you are making proposals. We will make our decisions. The duty of the authorities is not to interfere with our decisions, but to enforce the laws."
The report also protested the restriction on playing music after midnight.
