Women activists from Paris took over the Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Vigil in Strasbourg.

The women's movement activists Xezal Mamedova, Gülbahar Süleymanoğlu and Nurcan Sümbül took over the Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Vigil in Strasbourg. The action has been going on for 561 weeks. The women’s delegation came from Paris.

In a statement, the activists celebrated Newroz, saluted Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the Freedom Movement and the guerrillas fighting on the mountain. The women said in their message that their actions will continue until the physical freedom of the Kurdish People's Leader is ensured.
