An online panel and conference was held involving many Danish cities to mark 8 March, International Working Women's Day. Seven different women's institutions, including Sêvê Women's Council organised the conference, which was held online due to the epidemic.
The conference to be held in the Danish Parliament was organised at the headquarters of the DKT Center due to the coronavirus epidemic. The conference was attended by institutions such as Danner, Magtanalyse Center, Afro Danish Collektiv, København Unge Feminister, Feministiskinitiativ i Danmark, Kvinder Går i Modstsnd, Enhedslisten Kvinde Udvalg.
Red Union Party Deputy Rosa Lund, Radical Left Party Deputy Samira Nawa and Conservative Party Deputy Birgitte Bergman, also joined the conference. Sêvê Women's Council representatives talked about the political dimension of women's violence.
Stating that the Kurdish Freedom Movement has fought for women's freedom in its 40-year struggle, Sêvê Women’s Council representative said that this struggle is one of the cornerstones of women's freedom in the Democratic Nation philosophy which is about social changes.
