Arin Mirkan Women's Assembly, which operates in Marseille, sent a thousand letters prepared within the scope of the letter to the Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) campaign promoted by the European Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-E) to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Arzu Deniz, a member of the Arin Mirkan Women's Council, protested the CPT's insensitive approach and called for it to fulfill its responsibility. She said: “We have not heard from the Leader for a long time. We want to hear the voice of our leader. We want the CPT to fulfill its duty. We will continue our actions until we receive news from Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.”
The women then went to the post office to send a thousand letters to the CPT.
