Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) spokeswoman Ayşe Gökkan appeared at the 9th High Criminal Court in Amed this morning accused of "directing a terrorist organization" and "membership in a terrorist organization".

Gökkan was taken into custody after an arrest warrant was issued by the 9th Heavy Penal Court in Diyarbakır (Amed) during a hearing held on Wednesday. She spent the night in custody at the anti-terror branch of the police directorate.
