In a written statement, the YJK-E said that "the fascist Turkish state and its MHP-AKP government continue their genocidal policies and attacks against Kurdish society. They are being defeated and they seek to win by using chemical weapons against the Kurdish Freedom Movement and their gains."

The YJK-E pointed out that international circles also follow the policies that approve the Kurdish genocide, and added: "Today is the day to defend our identity! Today is the day to reclaim our language! Today is the day to write our history of freedom!

We invite all of our people, especially the women, who are the indomitable pioneers of the resistance, to take to the streets!"
