The Young Women Students in Rojava made a statement in support of young women in Iran and Eastern Kurdistan who are being poisoned.
The statement was read at the Movement Center of Democratic Students in Hesekeh and was read by Narin, a member of the Democratic Students' Movement.
The statement, as reported by Nuceciwan, said that the role of students and young women in the "Jin, Jiyad, Azadi - Women, Life, Freedom" Uprising is significant. Based on this principle, young women are facing the unceasing brutality of the Iranian regime, said the statement, adding: "The Iranian state is carrying out massacres against the uprisings of the people of Iran and Eastern Kurdistan. The Iranian regime is using various methods to silence the rebellions that are growing under the leadership of women and with Leader Apo’s slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadi”. Because of this, many young women who led this rebellion were executed in the most brutal way in front of all humanity. However, the fascist state of Iran did not stop with these acts. The last one was the poisoning of female students who played a leading role in that uprising because they did not remain silent against the brutality of Iranian fascism.
We, as a movement of democratic students, do not accept this act. That’s why we join the campaign “‘Jin Jiyan Azadî Ser bixe Azadî (Women Live Freedom Win Freedom)”. In order to raise the voice of the women of Iran and Eastern Kurdistan, we will always be in the field as young women who are students."
