Call for participation in the National Kurdish Cultural Festival against isolation and occupation

FCDK-KAWA called for participation in the 32nd National Kurdish Cultural Festival against isolation and occupation attacks.

The FCDK-KAWA Federation called for participation in the 32nd National Kurdish Cultural Festival to be held in Frankfurt Rabstockpark on 21 September.

The statement made by Mehmet Çoban, Co-Chair of the FCDK-KAWA Federation, said: “This year we will celebrate the 32nd National Kurdish Cultural Festival with the motto of breaking the isolation of the Kurdish People's Leader and ensuring his physical freedom, and status for Kurdistan. We invite all our people to participate in the festival. The Turkish state, and the AKP-MHP government in particular, wants to exterminate the Kurds in order to maintain its power. We Kurds in Europe can easily prevent this.”

Stating that the Kurdish people’s struggle is growing in the face of never-ending attacks, Çoban said, “The AKP-MHP government took the treacherous KDP behind it to prolong its life. However, the freedom struggle will not allow this. We will not allow it. We Kurds in Europe can be the voice and ears of all Kurds, all freedom fighters.”

Çoban pointed out that: “We invite and expect all our people to celebrate the 32nd National Kurdish Cultural Festival in Frankfurt Rabstockpark on 21 September. All our preparations have been completed. We are only waiting for our people, our friends, children, old people, women, young people, everyone to be in Frankfurt on 21 September.”

FCDK-KAWA Federation Co-Chair Kerime Barçın said the following: “We appeal to our people in Europe for our 32nd festival to be held in Frankfurt this year; women, children and young people should participate in the festival to break the aggravated isolation of the leader. When we look at today, the Turkish fascist occupying state is attacking our culture, language, dance and writings in Kurdistan with all its means. Here is our call to the Kurdish people; let's participate in the festival to claim our leader and ourselves against the Turkish state, the genocidal AKP-MHP and its partners, and the KDP betrayal.”
