A documentary about the Rojava Orchestra, directed by Dilîcan Osman Hiso, was screened at the Mihemed Şêxo Culture and Art Center. The Rojava Children's Orchestra members, artists and intellectuals attended the screening.

The 56-minute documentary, shot by Nefel Production, talks about the Rojava Orchestra Academy and its education, the trained child members and their different rehearsals.

The documentary also focuses on children who left their musical instruments behind as they migrated from occupied cities such as Serêkaniyê and Afrin.

At the end of the documentary screening, an award was presented to director Dilîcan Osman Hiso by Rojava Orchestra Executive Member Firyal Colîn. Dilîcan Osman dedicated the award to his artist father, Osman Hiso.

The Rojava Orchestra Academy was established in Qamishlo city in 2016. Here, children between the ages of 7 and 17 receive training on various musical instruments.
