Kobanê Baqî Xido Culture and Art Center opened a course to train theater actors. 25 people attended the course. The members will receive theoretical and practical training from a theater company in Qamishlo for 3 months.

The group will select talented actors during the first 10 days of the course and train them to perform on World Theater Day.

The aim of the course is to form new actors and keep the theater industry alive, especially in Kobanê.

Salih Îsmaîl, one of the observers of the course, told ANHA that they started this period to select some of the actors who could represent Kobanê in the festivals held in the Northern and Eastern Syria regions.
