The Kurdish band Koma Cûdî has released a new album called 'Apo Newroz e' dedicated to Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The Koma Cûdî spent significant time on the album 'Apo Newroz e' which is the product of a collective work.

Writers, intellectuals and artists in Rojava, Europe, Rojhilat (East) and Başûrê (South) Kurdistan supported and made suggestions for the album 'Apo Newroz e'. The lyrics of each track were written by different artists. The recording was made at the Orkêş Studio in Amûdê. The lyrics of the track 'Apo Newroz e' were written by Ednan Îbrahim, and its music was composed by Şivan Cizîrî and Baran Dilbihar.

The album includes the following tracks: Çiyayê Cûdî, Çiya Li Deştêkir, Kewê Gozel, Desmala Govendê, Mizgîna Azadiyê, Destanê Êzîdxanê, Avaşîn, Lehengên Botanê, Mamiz and Ho Reşo-Dara Li Homê.
