The resistance continues in the neighborhoods after the government appointed a trustee to DEM Part-run Batman (Êlih) Municipality.

Young people blocked the streets in the neighborhoods and responded to the police who attacked them.

In many neighborhoods of the city, young people took to the streets and fought back against the Turkish police's attacks with stones, fireworks, and Molotov cocktails.

The young people chanted slogans such as “Jin jiyan azadî” (Woman, life, freedom), “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long live President Apo), “Bê Serok jiyan nabe” (Without a leader, there is no life), “Youth is the martyr’s vanguard”.

Heavy helicopter activity over the city was reported throughout the night.
