Understanding the self-sacrificial fighters marching to victory and changing the course of history

The self-sacrificial fighters pioneered a historic process as a reality that further magnified the ever-burning fire of the self-sacrificial line.

And Rojger Hêlîn and Asya Ali, the leading militants of this sacrificial army, carried out a self-sacrificial action on 23 October 2024 in response to genocidal attacks.

In this age, it is not an exaggeration to say that the only way to truly live is to wage a continuous struggle. Even the only option to breathe freely is to fight. Of course, we can see this reality most vividly when we evaluate it in the concrete of Kurdistan. At a time when the capitalist system attacks so fiercely, the only option for an honourable life is to risk the heaviest costs and even sacrifice one's life if necessary to protect the values of one's people.

Today, every young person born and raised in Kurdistan is fascinated by the legendary lives of the Mazlums, Bêrîtans and Zîlans full of heroism and is in a great search to be like them. As a result, the only way in the face of the genocide and occupation attacks is the option of finalising the Kurdistan Freedom Revolution with victory. Thus, the first steps of self-sacrifice are taken at a young age, with the decision reached against the fascist genocidal mentality. Like the sprouting of a seed that falls into the soil, devotion to the ‘Wise Man’ becomes a source of great courage and strength for the believers. In this way, a self-sacrificial militant army capable of making all sacrifices shows the ability to achieve an ideological and military capability to fight against the whole world. We see the most recent example of this in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, in the self-sacrificial action that targeted TUSAŞ, where the vehicles used in the implementation of genocide are produced.

The philosophy and belief in free life created by Leader Apo has revealed a community of militants who can adapt themselves to every process and condition. These fighters, who can be called the lifeblood of the Freedom Movement and at the same time created the line of self-sacrifice- from Mazlum, Zîlan, Sara and Ruken, Erdal and Rojhat, Asya and Rojger- have purified themselves from all individual life pursuits and devoted their whole selves to the honourable and just cause of the Kurdish people. Dedicated personalities create out of nothing, they make victory a reality rather than a dream by locking on to the goal.

Just as the bombs raining down on every inch of Kurdistan today, the slaughtered children and women, the endless lamentations of mothers are real, the self-sacrificial action carried out in Ankara was an answer that had to be given in the face of these realities. In other words, a guerrilla army, which has dedicated itself to the Kurdish people's fight for a free life, acts with the awareness of its duties under all circumstances, as it is obliged to protect its people. The self-sacrificial fighters immortalised in Ankara are a concrete example of the commitment to the cause and the victory achieved in the most impossible times and places. Perhaps now the discussions on the timing of this self-sacrificial action continue endlessly. However, it is necessary to see and understand that the level of ideological and practical accumulation reached by a guerrilla team that has been planning such a perfect action for a long time has the potential to foresee all possible results. Therefore, just as the self-sacrificial guerrillas Rojger and Asya reached TUSAŞ without missing the target, everyone who knows the Freedom Movement should be able to show the courage to meet the developments. It is clear that the aim of this action is to start big exits at a turning point.

In fact, the self-sacrificial fighters, who were already moving towards the target with determined steps, showed all the points that needed to be understood very clearly to everyone, friend and foe, with the nobility in their gait, the confidence in their strokes, and the triumphant attitude in their stance. Is it possible not to see, not to hear, not to feel these brave hearts, not to envy them? Of course not. Even the special warfare elements who spoke after the action, while talking about the professionalism of the militants of the Battalion of the Immortals, expressed very clearly how much they actually admired them.

Since the self-sacrificial fighters Asya and Rojger were fearless and focused only on one point, namely success, while overcoming all obstacles, we witnessed how a two-man guerrilla team reached the strength of an army at the time of the action. We felt how dedicated personalities are capable of unparalleled power even in the most difficult conditions, with our hearts beating fast. Even more than us, the genocidal fascist Turkish state has witnessed again how the guerrilla army will write its name to historical victories even in the war conditions of the 21st century. For this reason, they feel cornered because they have repeatedly experienced that the guerrilla is as close as a breath and what they can do when the time and place come. For this reason, it is experiencing the pain of being out of breath and having received a fatal blow to his heart. The effects and results of the clear message given to the Turkish fascist genocide regime through the self-sacrificial action will be seen more clearly in the following period.
