Jinnews agency denounced in a written statement that its " website has been blocked by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) following a ruling by the 3rd Criminal Peace Court in Diyarbakır.

Demonstrations against the AKP government's women's policies, the messages sent by prisoners and the news about the state's policy of impunity against the culture of rape were shown as reasons to order the blocking of the website."

The ruling said: “A protection measure is applied by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority in accordance with the decision dated 04/12/2020 and numbered 2020/4213 by Diyarbakır 3rd Criminal Court of Peace to the website jinnews12.xyz.”
