Paris Commercial Court has announced the verdict in the case on the closure of Newroz TV, the broadcast of which had been stopped by the biggest European satellite company Eutelsat on 11 October on Turkey's demand.

The court was expected to announce its decision on November 14 but made this one day later, today noon.

Paris Commercial Court ruled that Eutelsat resume the broadcast of Newroz TV which is affiliated to Eutelsat's SKM (Stiftelsen Kurdish Media). The court also ruled Eutelsat to pay a compensation of 10,000 Euro for every day the broadcast will remain suspended as of today's court verdict.
