16 people in executed in the month of March in Rojhilat

The Kurdistan Human Rights Organization said that the Iranian regime has executed 16 people in the past month, while 4 others were sentenced to death.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Organization released its report on human rights violations in Rojhilat Kurdistan in the month of March.

According to the report, 16 people were executed in March, while many others were sentenced to death.

Highlights from the report are as follows:

"Executions

In continuation of the inhumane and hostile policies of the Iranian government, this month we witnessed the execution of 16 people and the death sentence for 4 of our citizens.

Arrest and prison

Detention and imprisonment of citizens have continued to increase in March.
According to the statistics compiled this month, more than 37 of our compatriots have been arrested in eastern Kurdistan, of which 13 have been sentenced to prison, four of them women.

Kolbars

The direct fire of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards has resulted in the wounding of 3 Kolbars, who are being treated in medical centers due to the severity of the injuries caused by the direct fire.

Murder and suicide

The number of suicides is still increasing and, unfortunately, we have seen an increase in the suicide of citizens and especially teenagers under the age of 18. In March, more than 3 citizens committed suicide. Among them, 1 woman has been killed and 1 other person has committed suicide, and 1 man has also committed suicide.

Mines

According to the reports received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, 2 citizens have been seriously injured by landmine explosions this month."
