MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli emphasized in his Eid al-Adha message that there is “no other option” regarding the current process, calling for it to be supported “openly and transparently, excluding impositions and hidden agendas.”
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli delivered messages about the ongoing process in a written statement for Eid al-Adha.
Bahçeli stated that “the will of the nation will be secured through the founding principles, essence, and integrity of the Republic,” and added, “The golden opportunity our country has seized must not be missed.”
“In this context, historical responsibilities fall on all of us,” Bahçeli said, adding: “Without making procedural or stylistic mistakes, we must consciously take ownership of our country and ideals in an open and transparent way, excluding impositions and hidden agendas.”
Arguing that with the removal of weapons and hostile targets, “Turkey will become the magnificent power of the new century,” Bahçeli added: “The strongest and most lasting response to division and discrimination lies hidden in the spiritual meaning of the holiday.”
Bahçeli also said: “Despite black propaganda, false news, baseless claims, slander, and unjust accusations, we will never compromise on our struggle. It is obvious that we have no other option if the conspiracies against our thousand-year brotherhood, the attacks on our homeland and national existence, and the intolerance toward Turkey’s future are to be rendered permanently ineffective.”
