The Vigil for Justice carried out by Emine Şenyaşar in front of the parliament in Ankara continues on its 33rd day. The woman’s husband and two sons were murdered by the bodyguards and relatives of former AKP Urfa MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız on 14 June 2018 in Suruç (Pirsûs), a district of Urfa (Riha).
Emine Şenyaşar said on Sunday: "They are just being cruel. I have been seeking justice for 7 years. While those who murdered my children in the hospital were walking freely outside, they threw my wounded son in prison. I want justice for everyone. I will not leave here until justice is served, and my son is released. If I am going to die, I will die here."
On Thursday, the woman was brought to hospital after suffering a nervous breakdown.
