İlboğa wounded in Ağrı provocation refused treatment

His younger brother, Turgay İlboğa, who visited his brother in prison, demanded he be released so that his wounds be treated.
Cenap İlboğa was wounded when Turkish troops opened fire Ağrı'nın Diyadin ilçeas preparations were being made for a tree-planting event on Tendürek mountain on 11 April. After receiving treatment for 3 weeks he was formally arrested by a court on 5 May and sent to the Erzurum H Type prison. Turgay İlboğa said his brother was only having his dressings changed at the prison clinic. “Despite a doctor’s report saying he should not be in prison, as there is a high risk of infection, he has not been released. He went to court in a wheelchair and he cannot look after himself,” Turgay İlboğa added.
‘His face has swollen up’
Turgay İlboğa called for his brother to be released, as he requires proper treatment. “I was shocked when I saw that his face had swollen up. I want doctors to go into the prison to see my brother. The prison is refusing to send him to hospital.”
İlboğa called on the prison authorities to release his brother so that he can receive treatment. He also called for public support.
