According to information shared by various human rights organizations, Kurdish rapper Omid Majidi was arrested in Sanandaj on 15 November.

Omid Majidi, recognized for his contributions to the field of rap music, was arrested by security forces in Lilakh Square in Sanandaj (Sînê).

Sources close to the case reveal that the young artist was taken into custody by security forces without clear details on the reasons for his arrest and the location of his detention.
