A Kurdish young man from Lorestan named Imam Hasan Wend, who was subjected to severe torture in Iranian prisons for about four months, has died.
According to news in Eastern Kurdistan media, a young man named Imam Hasan Wend (30), registered in the Lorestan population, was subjected to torture in Iranian prisons for 114 days.
It was reported that Tehran authorities informed the family of Imam Hasan Wend that their child had died and that they threatened the family not to speak about their son's death to the media.
Iranian state forces detained Imam Hasan Wend, who was wounded during a raid on his home 114 days ago.
During the same raid, another young man was shot and killed by Iranian forces.
The family is expected to receive the body of the man and bury it this Sunday.
