The peace envoy jailed in Diyarbakır E Type prison had been suffering from serious health problems when she was finally diagnosed with ovarian cancer and at the 3rd stage of the illness last month.
Doğan, who started receiving chemotherapy treatment at Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital yesterday, has been released following a visit to hospital by public prosecutor who read the court ruling to Doğan in person.
