Members of the Peace Mothers' Assembly started a vigil in Başverimli (Tilqebîn) in the province of Silopi (Silopiya) with the slogan "No to war, peace right now".

The vigil, attended by many Peace Mothers from Amed, Van (Wan), Batman (Êlîh), Mardin (Mêrdîn), Hakkari (Colemêrg), Urfa (Riha), Siirt (Sêrt), Izmir and Mersin, continues on its 3rd day.

The Peace Mothers issued a call from Tilqebîn (which is on the border of South Kurdistan), and protested the KDP attitude of betrayal. Despite the Turkish soldiers' attacks and obstruction against the vigil, the Peace Mothers said that they will continue their actions.
