During the vigil, which was attended by Gülsüm Elvan, mother of Berkin Elvan who was murdered by the police during the Gezi Resistance, and Nuray Meray, mother of Hasan Ferit Gedik, who was murdered by drug gangs, the Supreme Court was urgently called to act.

The first speech was made by ÇHD General Secretary Nergiz Tuba Aslan. Emphasizing that their only aim is to keep their colleagues alive, Aslan protested the ongoing unlawfulness.

Aslan reminded that despite the report issued by the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK), stating that lawyers could not remain in prison, Ebru Timtik and Aytaç Unsal have been held in hospitals against their consent for one month.
