10 people who were detained on May 27 in Mardin’s Nusaybin district, including Erkan Benli, the singer in Koma Sê Bira, were transferred to Nusaybin Courthouse following the procedures in the Mardin Provincial Directorate of Security.

The detainees were referred to Nusaybin Criminal Court with a demand for their arrest and were subsequently arrested on charges of “membership to a terrorist organisation” and “disrupting the unity and integrity of the state”.

The names of the 10 people arrested and sent to Mardin Type E Closed Prison are:

Fırat Çiftçi, İbrahim Halil Karataş, Resul Ergün, Osman Uçar, Melis Teksan, Oktay Gül, Akar İkbal, Erkan Benli, Onur Yılmaz, Nurullah Akyüz.
