14 Turkish soldiers killed in Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Offensive

The press center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement about the Turkish army's invasion of the Medya Defense Zones, which has been ongoing since last Friday, and the resistance of guerrilla forces.
According to the statement, the "Şehîd Delal Amed Air Defense Units" struck the Turkish military base in the Kani Masi sub-district near the Amadiya city at 8:45 a.m. this morning. The targets were hit effectively with aircraft and the action was successful.
Avashin
HPG also published further details on the revolutionary guerrilla offensive "Bazên Zagrosê," which was recently launched in response to the Turkish army's recent occupation efforts in the Zap, Avashin and Metina regions.
Accordingly, on April 24, two soldiers were killed on Hill Martyr Munzur in Mamreşo area during an action by guerrillas that targeted on a newly established position of the occupation forces. The next day, another guerrilla action took place at the same location, leaving one soldier dead and two others injured.
Early in the morning on April 26, guerrillas hit the Turkish troops stationed at Hill Martyr Serdar as they were cutting trees for a military camp. "The death of two occupants was safely established, however, the number of enemy casualties turned out to be higher," the HPG said. In the afternoon, guerrillas hit the site twice with Katyusha rockets. One soldier was killed here and another three wounded.
Again on April 26 afternoon, guerrillas hit the Turkish soldiers on Martyr Munzur and Martyr Serdar hills. The results of the actions couldn’t be clarified.
On April 27, Turkish troops were targeted by guerrillas using sabotage tactics while attempting to infiltrate a guerrilla camp in Mamreşo. Three soldiers were killed as a result of the action.
Zap
On April 26, guerrillas carried out several consecutive and "effective actions" against the occupation forces in the Qela Bedewe area between 7 am and 5 pm. At least five Turkish soldiers were killed during the actions. The Turkish army responded with air strikes on the combat area before evacuating the dead and injured soldiers later in the evening.
On April 27, guerrillas targeted the Turkish forces stationed on Hill Xeregol with mortars.
Turkish air and ground attacks
HPG reported that the Turkish army carried out further air and ground attacks in other areas of Zap and Avashin on April 27. Accordingly, latest airstrikes by the Turkish army targeted the following locations;
- Kunişka area in Zap region at 11 a.m.
- Martyr Şahin and T Letter areas in Zap region at 4:30 p.m.
- Arıs Farıs and Mamreşo areas in Avashin region at 4:30 p.m. The same areas were intensely bombed by attack helicopters and howitzers from 9 p.m. until midnight.
- Suke area in Avashin region at 9:30 p.m.
The statement added that guerrillas suffered no casualties in the mentioned bombardments.
