15 Turkish soldiers killed in Barzan and Gever
At least 15 soldiers of the Turkish army were killed as result of guerrilla actions Barzan region in Southern Kurdistan and Gever region in Northern Kurdistan.
At least 15 soldiers of the Turkish army were killed as result of guerrilla actions Barzan region in Southern Kurdistan and Gever region in Northern Kurdistan.
Guerrilla actions continue against the Turkish troops that engage in invasion attempts on Southern and Northern Kurdistan border line.
BARZAN
ANF reporters on the ground stated that guerrillas carried out an action targeting the Turkish soldiers in a location dubbed ‘Coordination point’ on Girê Botinî hill in Barzan region of Southern Kurdistan.
The tents and emplacements of the soldiers here were targeted by guerrillas at 10:00 Monday morning, as result of which some 10 soldiers were killed and many others got wounded.
The Turkish bombardment launched in the wake of the action is continuing.
GEVER
In another action, guerrillas hit the Turkish soldiers positioned on Bayê hill in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district on Monday. 5 soldiers were killed as result of the action in which guerrillas targeted the containers and emplacements of the Turkish forces on the hill.
Turkish warplanes bombed the area in the wake of the action.
ŞEMDİNLİ
At around 11:00 Monday morning, guerrillas hit the Turkish soldiers on Şikêra Spî hill in Şemdinli district of Hakkari. No information could be obtained yet on the number of soldiers killed or wounded here.
