Families are on hunger strike for two weeks to reclaim the bodies of their children killed by state forces in Amed's Sur district where a siege and onslaught remains in effect for the 45th uninterrupted day.

Mesut Seviktek and İsa Oran were murdered in Sur 25 days ago; Ramazan Öğüt 18 days ago and Rozerin Çukur 9 days ago. Bodies of all remain where they were killed as no ambulance is allowed into the district to retrieve the bodies of slain youths.

Families of the four youths are on hunger strike for 15 days to be handed over the bodies of their children on street for weeks now.

Three buses of people from Istanbul will arrive in Amed today and visit the families on hunger strike in solidarity with their demand for the retrieval of bodies and ending of the siege in Sur.
