17-year-old Mustafa Duman was shot by a bullet in the head as he sat outside his house in Xaçort neighborhood of Van's central İpekyolu district on August 30. Duman was targeted by random fire opened by police forces from an armored vehicle during a raid on a house in the neighborhood.

Duman has been struggling for his life in hospital since, and he lost his life last night. He is expected to be laid to rest today after a post-mortem examination.
