19 soldiers killed among Turkish troops crossing Çukurca border
The number of Turkish soldiers killed among the troops that crossed the Çukurca border last night has risen to 19.
Clashes continue between guerrilla forces and Turkish troops that crossed into Southern Kurdistan from Çukurca last night.
After crossing the border and moving on towards the Qela Bedewê area, Turkish soldiers entered a location where guerrillas had laid explosive traps before. 5 Turkish soldiers have been killed in the ambush here.
ANF reporters on the ground stated that 14 soldiers had been killed in this area early Saturday morning.
