Clashes broke out with Turkish soldiers at 21:00 on March 25 in the Bektaşlı region of Hatay’s Kırıkhan district as two guerrillas were on a mission in the region. After three hours of fighting, 2 HPG guerrillas lost their lives.
HPG (People's Defense Forces) Media Center released the ID information of two guerillas that lost their lives in Hatay on March 25.
In its statement, HPG said that clashes broke out with Turkish soldiers at 21:00 on March 25 in the Bektaşlı region of Hatay’s Kırıkhan district as two guerrillas were on a mission in the region. After three hours of clashes, guerrillas Xoşmer Kotol (Ehed Hesenlu) and Deniz Alişer (Özgür Tektaş) lost their lives and the casualties of the Turkish army have not yet been determined. Deniz Alişer (Özgür Tektaş) got injured during the clashes and was captured alive by Turkish forces, which then massacred him. HPG criticized the Turkish state’s massacre-oriented mentality that resulted in the torturous murder of Deniz Alişer, and shared the following ID information of the two fallen guerrillas:
