YPS General Coordination announced that 2 YPS-JIN fighters died during the clashes on the road between Şırnak’s Cizre and Silopi districts. YPS stated that the fighters, Zerya Çırav and Sozda Xwinrej, fell as martyrs during the clashes with state forces on the road between Şırnak’s Cizre and Silopi districts.

YPS stated that Mahmut Zeyrek, a civilian from Silopi’s Gıtê village, was also killed in his car by state forces as he was driving near the site of the clashes.
