21 more political prisoners face exile
Three female political prisoners in Van M Type Closed Prison were exiled to Ankara Sincan Closed Prison. 18 prisoners in Ağrı M Type Closed Prison were also exiled with no explanation on the reason.
Female political prisoners in Van Closed Prison Type M, Herdem Acar, Şehrivan Çoban and Derya Kurtalan were exiled to Ankara Sincan Closed Prison in the early morning hours yesterday.
25 people, including DBP’s Ağrı branch co-chairs Barış Demir and Hanım Yıldırım, who were detained in police raids in DBP offices in Ağrı on March. 13 of these were arrested and sent to Ağrı Closed Prison Type M. In line with the war concept, pressure against political prisoners continue with exiles. Reports say 18 prisoners including DBP Ağrı branch co-chair Barış Demir, Nevzat ayna and Fezvi Karaman have been exiled to Giresun and Çanakkale prisons.
