36 people who had been taken into custody following house raids in Batman and its Hezo (Kozluk) and Sason districts on September 21 on the grounds of “participation in persuasion commissions in June 7 and November 1 elections”, were referred to court Friday evening.
Among the detainees who were accused of “membership and aiding and abetting a terror organisation”, 24 were remanded in custody and sent to Batman M Type Prison. 12 others were released on conditions of judicial control and ban on leaving the country.
The Kurdish politicians remained handcuffed during the course of detention.
