Police forces have attacked the people joining a vigil of resistance in Girêmîra neighborhood of Mardin's Nusaybin district.

The vigil against the ongoing state of siege in Şırnak's Cizre district has been going on for over a week now. Police have today noon surrounded and attacked the neighborhood. The house of condolences was also raided.

Many people were injured as a result of the police attack, while a total of 25 people including journalists have been taken into custody.

The police aggression in the neighborhood continues.
