30-year-old civilian murdered by police in Cizre

Elçi had got wounded as a result of gunfire by state forces on Cizre's Şah neighborhood which remains outside of the curfew area, where there are no trenches or barricades. The man was rushed to Cizre State Hospital and taken under treatment but succumbed to his wounds in the evening.
In the meantime, Cudi and Nur neighborhoods of Cizre have been targeted by Turkish military and police forces throughout the day since early morning hours. One civilian was reportedly detained as a result of a house raid in Nur neighborhood.
On the other hand, Hotel Memuzin in town centre, which had greatly been damaged by previous attacks, has been demolished completely today as a result of a fire that left the building burned down.
Earlier today, clashes erupted as local self-defense units YPS responded to Turkish forces that attempted to infiltrate into Cudi neighborhood. Two police were killed and three soldiers were wounded in the fighting.
