Clashes erupted between guerrillas and the Turkish troops that launched an operation yesterday in Mount Tendürek located between Ağrı's Bazid (Doğubeyazıd) district and Van's Çaldıran district. Village guards are also partaking in the operation.

According to initial reports, 4 soldiers and one village guard were killed and at least 6 soldiers were wounded during clashes that erupted yesterday and still continue. Local sources report that the number of casualties is higher.

On the other hand, one soldier was killed in a clash that erupted in Şemdinli district of Hakkari.

HPG has not released a statement regarding the mentioned confrontations with the Turkish army yet.
