5 fighters that have lost their lives in Manbij, Kobanê, and Efrîn were laid to rest in Rojava. Mihemed Welîd Henkûş (Ebû Şadî) had died during the clashes in the Shehba region, and thousands of people retrieved his body from Avrin Hospital and took it to the Şehîd Refîq Martyrs’ Cemetery in Şera. Jaysh Al-Thuwar Commander Ebsî Taha, Shehba Region Assembly representatives Eyşê Berketa and Îsmaîl Mûsa, and Shehba Asayis Forces representative Nîdal Şêx Ebdo spoke during Henkûş’s funeral.

‘WE WILL ALWAYS PROTECT THEIR STRUGGLE’

Mustafa Musa, Piling Sur, Zagros Qelqelê and Nîzar Semo had lost their lives during Operation Liberate Manbij, and hundreds of people participated in their funeral in Kobanê. Participants gathered in front of the Kobanê Martyr Families Institution, retrieved the bodies of the fallen fighters, and took the bodies to the Şehîd Dicle Martyrs’ Cemetery.

YPG Commander Gulbuhar Qamişlo spoke during the funeral and said that they would always protect the struggle of brave fighters that have fallen during the struggle against ISIS gangs.
